DESCRIPTION:The Toronto Railway Museum is pleased to announce the launch of On the Rails: The Experiences of Toronto’s Railway Workers\, a new digital exhibit. The online project is available to the public beginning on June 2\, 2023 and was developed with funding from the Digital Museums Canada investment program. \nOn the Rails explores the unique and everyday challenges of Toronto’s past and current railway workers. Hop aboard to discover the jobs of Canada’s sleeping car porters\, the behind-the-scenes duties at Union Station\, and other first-hand experiences of railway professionals. Join the TRM team for a volunteer weeding party.  \nAll are welcome. No expertise needed – everything growing thing in the space is definitely a weed! \nIf you have gardening gloves and tools and can bring them with you it will much appreciated. (We have some at the Museum\, but may not be enough for all volunteers.) \nNotes: Bring refillable water bottle if you are able and remember to wear hats\, sunblock\, closed-toe shoes etc.  \nSign up link coming soon! \nHave questions?
